1st
day
After the arrival on the international airport from Belize, you will
get a salutation in the Old Belize at the Caribbean sea.
Afterwards, we drive to our Lodge.
2nd
day
After the breakfast, we discover the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich - one of the most important rites places of the classic period.
Xunantunich's show-piece is the highly emergent pyramid (45 m),
that was regarded as the highest construction of Belize.
Clarissa Falls to Carla Creek, a river tubing trip is our next adventure of the day.
Afterwards,
we stroll through the biggest city in the west from Belize - San
Ignacio, enjoy a Shopping tour, a drink in the famous Evas
restaurant, a bath in the River or a delicious dinner. Overnight stay Wolf's Place,
Blackman Eddy. |
3rd
day
We drive to the market in Belmopan for a typical belizean breakfast.
Afterwards, we view the capital of Belize, Belmopan in a combination drive and walk.
It follows a visit to the Blue Hole National Park. Here, we explore the St. Hermanns Cave in a selective combination of hiking and climbing.
Afterwards, we refresh ourselves. We take a bath in the Blue Hole.
Back in the car we drive further towards south. The beautiful Hummingbird Highway leads us directly into the Garifuna town Dangriga.
We stroll through the comfortable city, visit the fish-market (on wish also the Garifuna museum) and take a bath in the Caribbean sea. If hungry, you can feast yourself in the Riverside cafe at one of the canals of the city at an fresh caught and newly fried sea fish.
After a very eventful day, we return to Wolf's Place.

4th
day
Breakfast.
Then we drive a truly adventurous street through the prominent Mountain
Pine Ridge. On the way up, we visit the Green Hill butterfly-farm. Afterwards you can enjoy yourselfe, bathe in Big Rock Falls and the Five Sister Falls or hike through the water from Big Rock to the Five Sisters (about 1 hour).
Overnight stay in Wolf's Place.

5th
day
After breakfast we go on an about 3 hour canoe-tour on the Belize River. We enjoy the splendid flora and fauna, the numerous bird-types, Iguanas and other creatures. Afterward we visit the Guanacastle
National Park. During one approximately 1 hour jungle hike
you will meet native animals and plants, among others the black orchid.
At the end of the hike, you can give a farewell to the sweat at a
bath in the Belize River. |

6th
day
Breakfast.
The
present-day sightseeing of the Mayan cermenies place "Actun Tunichil Muknal" hidden in the jungle is one of the main attractions
of the west from Belize surely.
We swim into the entrance of the cave. After approximately 1km river-migration
and climbs over rocks we come into the main-foyer, in the century-aged
craft-job and skeletons impressions of old Mayan rites mediates.
Also female skeletons are in this cave. What should put an end to
the myth, that women with that were impossible May-ace of ceremonial
actions.
This tour can be enforced only by few licensed leaders. They should
miss it with a Belize-stay on no account.

7th
day
After the breakfast, we get going to another cave - called Caves Branch or Jaguar Paw.
We discover this cave on a river with crystal clear water flowing through in a tube.
In the afternoon, we visit the Belize Zoo. It is the only zoo in the world, that lodges only native types of animal. All of them came to the zoo because somebody found them either sick or orphaned; or the animals were seized from smugglers. Sure, in the meanwhile some of the inhabitants are born in the Belize Zoo.
A wonderful project.
The overnight stay takes place in Wolf's Place.

8th
day
After breakfast, we visit Spanish Lookout, that best developed Mennonitesettlement
in Belize. We cross the Belize River with a ferry driven per hand-winches.
Then we drive to Barton Creek Cave in a splendid landscape through
a settlement of the conservative Mennonites to the bar-sound. The
settlers live without current, telephone and connection to the public
water-network. You/they represent a glaring contrast to the progressive
fellow-believers in the region Spanish Lookout.
After we have to manage a river-pass with the jeep, we explore the
cave with a canoe. Then, we go after an eventful day on the way
back to Wolf's Place. |
9th
day
We drive over Belize City to Caye Caulker. On the way, we do a sihgtseeing trip through Belize
City. Overnight stay takes
place in in Rainbow Hotel or Ocen Pearl or comparable.

10th
- 11th day
These days stand by the individual disposal. Relaxe, go to bathe,
snorkels, dives or visits the neighbor-island Ambergris Caye . Overnight
stay in blue Wave Guesthouse or comparable.

12th
day
Return trip of Caye Caulker. On the way to Blackman Eddy, we stop
in Old Belize, that truly most modern and best museum in Belize. After
the sightseeing, you have the possibility to take a refreshment-drink
at the sandy beach of the Cucumber Beach or in Sibun Bite.
The overnight stay takes place in Wolf's Place. |
13th
day
Breakfast. We drive wests in the morning to the black rocks at the Macal
River. A hike trough the jungle leads us to a outlook tower with view to the beautiful Vaca Falls. The falls invite to a bath in the Macal River.
We will have a BBQ in the evening.
The overnight stay takes place in Wolf's Place.

day
Unfortunately

As always, the time has passed much too quickly... but no chance:
After the breakfast, the transference takes place to the international
airport.
